Garden Tidy on Mairehau sections
Family-section gardens tend to be borders and front beds that get away over a busy season — weeding back to soil, re-edging and a fresh layer of mulch brings them back.
Mairehau's flat eastern-side sections near Mairehau Road include some sandy, wetter ground where lawns stay soft in winter.
Weeds grow as fast as plants in the north's fertile soils, so a spring tidy followed by a summer touch-up keeps beds under control.
We cover all of Mairehau 8052, including around Mairehau Road, Marshland Road.
